Educational visual experience in medical AR


This AR experience highlights the benefits of Nevro’s HF10 Therapy for the treatment of chronic pain. The therapy uses a unique mechanism and greater frequency of stimulation than traditional spinal cord stimulation to give greater long-term improvement in pain.

The app, which is downloaded onto a tablet or smartphone, uses ‘markerless’ object detection and tracking through advanced optical machine learning algorithms. This technology can detect a physical object in the real world, and correctly overlays our 3D virtual content.

The user navigates the experience by activating buttons to unveil more content. The experience demonstrates how AR technology can be utilized to visualize information to engage and educate the user.

The experience is designed to educate the user about HF10 and allows clinical data to be displayed in an easily digestible way along with scientific animation to demonstrate the therapy in action.
