We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Marketing Operations Executive to join the Sales and Marketing team. This role will report to Marketing Operations Director.

The Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail with a demonstrated history of being a strong communicator, both verballing and in writing. We work with the world’s leading healthcare and pharmaceutical companies, so a passion for science and a strong academic background is preferred. An interest in marketing operations and healthcare is also preferred.

 

Responsibilities

Support the marketing communications and operations function across various marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Infrastructure and Process Management:

  • Manage and monitor key databases (Salesforce and Google Docs), ensuring records are structured appropriately and contain all accurate and relevant information.
  • Monitor the integration between Salesforce, automated marketing, and project management systems.
  • Suggest process improvements, new processes, or new technology that will enhance data management and/or the work process of the team, ensuring optimisation in the Sales and Marketing team’s performance.

Data Management and Segmentation:

  • Managing and maintaining data quality in CRM (customer relationship management) software and other programs used, by monitoring and ensuring data input, data hygiene, and data relevance.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, schedule, execute, and maintain email marketing campaigns, including set-up, monitoring, and measuring marketing automation campaigns to support our lead generation strategy.
  • Support our paid LinkedIn advertising strategy through campaign set-up, monitoring, and reporting on statistics to identify key learnings and pass relevant leads on to our sales team.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Monitor KPIs (key performance indicators) and produce timely and accurate reporting and analysis as scheduled, or requested.
  • Provide information and extract valuable customer insights to help make informed decisions aiding future strategic planning.
  • Effectively communicate reports and insights to the Sales and Marketing team during meetings or via email, ensuring clear and timely dissemination of information.

General:

  • Provide day-to-day support to the wider Sales and Marketing team.
  • Build up knowledge and understanding of the sales, marketing, and communications techniques that work for our business as well as the different industries that we target and the relevance of suitable new and existing leads to our business.

 

Essential skills or qualifications

  • Candidates must have a BSc and/or MSc and a desire to develop their career in marketing operations.
  • Strong communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • Can demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills to manage workload and priorities effectively.
  • A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, and attribution.
  • Demonstrated ability or interest in reporting and data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

 

Desirable skills or qualifications

  • Demonstrate experience in data analysis and marketing operations, so they can effectively contribute to the success of our team and showcase the ability to successfully handle related tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to draw insights and intelligence from marketing data.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
  • Passion for science and interest in the pharmaceutical industry
  • An interest in sales and marketing operations.

Working hours

Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday 10:00 – 18:00 (35 hours per week plus one-hour unpaid lunch break per day). Unless otherwise specified, these will be the contracted hours for the role.
