The Random42 team has experienced a huge amount of growth over the past few years. This growth enables us to continually expand our hardworking team that all play a crucial role in the running and development of the company. We would like to welcome the newest recruits to our ever-expanding team…

Ankur Perry – Scientific Account Manager

BSc (Hons) Neuroscience – University College London

Ph.D. Developmental Neurobiology – King’s College London

Ankur is a Ph.D. neuroscientist whose research focused on the structural and functional development of the visual system. At Random42 he also draws upon his prior experience of working in Medical Communications and in conveying scientific concepts to professionals and the public. Ankur is responsible for developing scripts and providing scientific project support. Beyond the workplace, he enjoys bouldering, brewing, and building things.

Leila Joyce – Credit Controller

Leila is responsible for chasing and collecting the payments and debt within the business. She also assists on project work. Prior to working at Random42, Leila has worked in Accounts for the past nine years, so has an extensive knowledge of working within the Finance Department. She studied English Literature, and has a passion for reading and going to the theatre.

Zack Bloundele – Junior Interactive Developer

BSc Computer Games Development – University of East London

MSc Games Development – Kingston University

In the two and a bit years since finishing his Masters in Games Development, Zack has spent his time teaching programming and developing VR games at an indie studio he co-founded. He’s since joined Random42’s interactive team to help expand the AR/VR development pipeline and create interesting interactive experiences. In his free time, Zack enjoys running, cooking and playing a variety of computer/board/card games.

Noelia Garcia Calavia – Scientific Account Manager

BSc (Hons) Genetics – The University of Edinburgh

Ph.D. Molecular and Cell Biology – University College London

Noelia is a Ph.D. molecular and cell biologist with experience in the peripheral nervous system in vivo and Poxviruses in vitro. Before her PhD, she also completed an MSc in Cancer at UCL. During her post-graduate training, she enjoyed assisting in laboratory practicals for undergraduate students, where she learned to transmit complex biology concepts to different audiences. She joined Random42 as a Scientific Account Manager where she combines her knowledge in biology and passion for medical animation. Outside work she loves listening to music, baking cakes and traveling.

Aaron Borg – Scientific Account Manager

BSc (Hons) Biochemistry – University of Surrey

Ph.D. Analytical Chemistry – Imperial College London

Prior to his Ph.D., Aaron worked as an analytical chemist in the pharmaceutical industry and carried out genetic analysis in an NHS research and diagnostic laboratory. His Ph.D. focused on developing novel analytical methods and chemical tools to study protein function and structure. He later worked at the Francis Crick Institute, conducting research and providing technical consultation on a wide range of projects in oncology, parasitology and structural biology. As a Scientific Account Manager at Random42, this scientific breadth supports scientific script writing and understanding to guide the wonderful work the creative team produce. His hobbies include cooking, renovation, and trying new activities.

Sajida Chowdhury – Office Manager

Sajida has three years of varied administration experience, she previously worked in the construction industry as an office administrator, her previous role was for Carillion. She has joined as an Office Manager here at Random42 as a new step in her career. In Sajida’s spare time, she likes to visit new places to eat and loves going to the cinema with her friends. She also likes to read fictional books when she has the time after work and during the weekends.
