Scientific Account Executive

The Scientific Account Executive will join our Science Team in a unique hybrid role, which encompasses both a medical writing aspect in the development of scientific story flows alongside acting in a client-facing position as project manager. The role covers producing a wide range of project types, including video, print, and interactive based content, such as VR, AR, and applications over a range of therapeutic areas. As part of the science team, it is our job to ensure that all projects are finalised on time and to the highest standards of scientific accuracy.

A day in the life of the successful candidate will include:

  • Writing and referencing scripts
  • Work closely with the in-house production team in developing content to ensure a high level of scientific accuracy
  • Liaising directly with clients to obtain briefs, feedback and updates on project progress
  • Maintaining good client relationships
  • Uploading projects for Med Legal Review
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Keeping their line manager up to date with project progress

 Requirements:

  • PhD-level scientist in an area of molecular biology
  • Able to handle several projects simultaneously and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Good phone manner essential
  • The candidate must have a clear way of describing complex MoAs in laymen’s terms
  • Should be able to work and communicate well within a team
