The Scientific Account Executive position is a unique opportunity for Ph.D. scientists, offering a blend of scientific storytelling and writing while honing your project management and client relationship skills.
As a Scientific Account Executive, you will be involved in a diverse range of projects, spanning video, print, and interactive-based content across various therapeutic areas. Your role as part of the science team is crucial in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and uphold the highest standards of scientific accuracy.
A day in the life of the successful candidate will include:
- Independently developing high-quality scripts, the foundation of every video project
- Referencing all claims with relevant and up-to-date literature
- Uploading and managing content through Med-Legal Review
- Working closely with the in-house production team to ensure all visuals are of a high level of scientific accuracy
- Liaising with clients to obtain briefs, review feedback, and provide updates on project progress
- Nurturing and maintaining excellent relationships with new and returning clients
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time
Requirements
- Ph.D. in an area of molecular biology.
- Able to handle several projects simultaneously and to prioritize effectively.
- Confident in leading internal and external meetings; good phone manners are essential.
- The candidate must have a clear way of describing complex MoAs in layperson’s terms.
- Working and communicating well within a team, demonstrating the potential to mentor and manage junior team members as progression allows.
