Layomi’s Biotechnology degree covered a wide range of aspects including biochemistry, immunology, molecular pharming, and bioethics. Her final year research project was on how mass media affects public perceptions of biotechnology and its advancements which sparked her interest in effective scientific communication. As an Account Manager at Random42, Layomi’s role includes liaising with existing clients on projects within small biotech and pharma aiding the communication of novel science. Outside of work, Layomi enjoys going out with friends, going to the gym, and shopping.
