About the job

Random42 is looking to hire an Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the office. Reporting to the Head of IT/Facilities.

We’re looking for someone who has a lot of energy, is hands-on, and is excellent at working through problems and issues faced day-to-day in running an office.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Create and maintain systems and processes to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the office
  • Manage all office maintenance responsibilities and communication, including:

• Booking FedEx / posting headsets

• Maintaining supplies

• Organising company events and meetings

• Primary contact for incoming calls to the office

  • Reviewing H&S policy (together with HR)
  • Fire safety – including periodic testing, drills and fire warden coordination
  • First aid – ensuring adequate first aiders are in the office and external training is kept up-to-date
  • Onboarding / offboarding of all staff

Requirements

  • Previous experience of office management
  • Proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and professional
  • IT skills – experience working with Microsoft office is essential
