Hannah completed her BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Liverpool before gaining an MSc in Biotechnology at the University of Edinburgh. As part of her Master’s programme, she gained experience working in the industry by completing an internship at a small biotech start-up company. She then went on to the University of Glasgow to undertake a PhD in Cancer Sciences, with her research involving investigating the role of the microbiome in diseases of ageing, including Cancer and Chronic Kidney Disease. Her work as part of this lab has featured in multiple publications in the field. As part of the Random42 science team, Hannah supports scientific projects across a range of therapeutic areas, developing scientific scripts and storyboards for production. Outside of work, you’ll find her enjoying long walks (preferably with lots of dogs!), cooking, and exploring the best pubs and restaurants with friends.
