Random42 Release New 2022 Medical Animation Showreel

We are incredibly excited to announce the release of our eagerly awaited 2022 medical animation showreel, featuring the best and most recent 3d animation work from our talented team.

For the last 30 years, we have been in a unique position to observe many of the challenges facing modern science. We’ve witnessed countless diseases and disorders, and through medical animation, we take you on an immersive journey, exploring their complex biological processes and explaining how cutting-edge treatments can be used to overcome such conditions. We believe that understanding the complexity of the human body is paramount to developing these solutions.

Our new showreel showcases some of the most impactful and dramatic scientific imagery, illustrating numerous diseases and pathways down to the cellular level, all in breathtaking 3D. The viewer is transported into the human body where they can float alongside red blood cells inside arteries, observe invading pathogens or bacteria replicating exponentially, all at a molecular level. When a drug or device enters the scene, we can see for ourselves how it interacts with the intricate mechanisms of the human body, all illustrated in the highest cinematographic quality.

It has been three years since we last delivered a showreel and clearly a lot has happened in that time. This reel reflects on this period, where we have seen the emergence of a new disease, as well as our work on a plethora of diseases over our 30-year history. It always excites me to see a new reel as it makes me immensely proud of the team, as they strive to produce the best work in the industry.

Since we released our last showreel, we have had the pleasure of welcoming many new talented members into the team. It has been impressive to see such creative talented people collaborating together under one roof. Together we have spent the past few years experimenting with different ways of working, seeking to tell these stories in new and creative ways. Putting together the showreel is always a pleasure as it gives us a retrospective on where we’ve been and where we want to go next. With our seemingly ever-growing pool of talent I’m excited for what’s to come.
