Science in Motion – Zika Virus
This Science in Motion animation focuses on the Zika virus. The animation visualizes how the virus can be transmitted from mother to child within the womb which can lead to microcephaly, where infants can be born with a small head size as well as neurological defects that can often impair intellectual development in later life.
