Charity Cycle from London to Paris

Members of our team recently cycled from London to Paris.

A group of five dedicated individuals from our team recently embarked on a challenging yet rewarding journey, cycling a total of 300km from London to Paris over four days. The purpose of this gruelling expedition was to raise vital funds for our charity partner, Choose Love.

The team’s journey began with a mix of excitement and trepidation. The initial leg, from London to Brighton, proved to be the most demanding, with steep climbs and unpredictable weather conditions testing their limits. However, their determination and camaraderie carried them through.

Once they crossed the English Channel, the French countryside welcomed them with open arms. While the route on the French side was smoother, the accumulated fatigue of the previous days made the cycling just as challenging. Yet, the team’s unwavering spirit and mutual support kept them going.

Throughout the journey, the team faced various obstacles, from punctured tyres to wrong turns. However, they approached each challenge with a calm demeanour, tackling them together as a united front. Amidst the trials, they also took time to appreciate the breathtaking landscapes and the unique experiences the journey offered.

The team’s unwavering commitment was fuelled by the overwhelming support they received from their friends, family, and colleagues. Knowing that so many people were cheering them on provided them with the extra motivation they needed to persevere.

Upon reaching Paris, the team celebrated their victory not only as a testament to their physical endurance but also as a demonstration of teamwork, perseverance, and the power of shared experiences. They were able to beat their fundraising goal and raise an astonishing £1347 for Choose Love and their crucial cause of providing humanitarian aid to support refugees all over the world. This journey will forever be etched in their memories as a remarkable accomplishment.
