Random42 Relocate to New Central London Premises

8th February 2021 Company News News

We are incredibly excited to announce that we will be moving to new, larger premises in Marylebone this summer.

We will be relocating to the heart of Marylebone, a vibrant and charming location, fit for a creative and innovative company.

The new site is still very close to Soho, an area that the creative industries have traditionally favoured. Just a short walk from Bond Street, Oxford Circus, and Marble Arch stations, in the very heart of central London.

As Random42 continues with such strong year-on-year growth, a new, larger home has become an essential requirement for providing an environment that enhances our teams’ creativity, productivity, and synergy.

As a company, we have been lucky to be relatively unaffected by the pandemic. However, it has reaffirmed my belief in the importance of being physically in an office, providing an environment that aids collaboration, helps define employees’ work-life balance, and brings us closer as a company. With this in mind, we have decided to move to new offices – for the first time taking on a whole building that we can mould to our specific needs.

Our new office on Marylebone Lane provides double the floor space of our current office, along with a rooftop terrace. The additional floor space is needed, because of the growth we have experienced over the last year, but there is now ample room for social areas, collaboration spaces, and the all-important bike park. It is an exciting time for the company, and I am very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back into this new space.

The new premises is a 10,000sqft self-contained office building situated in the Harley Street Conservation Area. The building itself is the converted former Cordon Blue cookery school, refurbished into a new spacious office layout. We have secured the space ready for its full fit-out as we begin to put our stamp on our new home.

For the best part of the last year, the Random42 team, like many companies worldwide, moved to a remote working model. After quickly adapting to this new way of working, we are excited to move into our new office once government guidelines allow. We are all looking forward to getting back to our central London home when it is safe to do so and are eagerly anticipating the new experiences and opportunities the new space will bring.
