We would like to introduce you to some of our newest members of the Random42 team. As our company continues to grow and expand, we welcome our new starters who each bring unique skills, experiences, and talents to our team.
Introducing our newest Random42 employees…
Chess Covolan – Office Manager
Chess has been working since she was 18, progressing from a Receptionist in a legal setting to Building Ambassador at Amazon HQ. She then worked in Building Management and Campus Management since 2020. Chess is an Office Manager at Random42, dealing with the facilities and supplies of the building as well as helping with events and IT. Chess loves socialising inside and outside of work, and you can usually find her sitting in an Essex or London pub garden with her Welsh Terrier, Griff. She also enjoys going to concerts and having long weekends away in Suffolk.
Dami Fasulu – HR Administrator
BSc Business and Management – Aston University
Dami studied Business and Management at Aston University and her role at Random42 as an HR Administrator involves handling the daily administrative and HR duties of the organisation. Dami assists with record maintenance, payroll processing, and providing clerical support to all employees. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, reading, going out with friends, and eating.
Reha Soni – Account Executive
BSc Biomedical Sciences – Newcastle University
Before Random42, Reha completed a 6-month internship specialising in pharmacovigilance, as well as volunteering at a charity and running their social media/campaigns. In her final year project, she specialised in bioinformatics where she genetically diagnosed children with mitochondrial disease. Within Random42 as an Account Executive, she will be attracting new clientele within the pharma and biotech industries and maintaining current client relationships. Her hobbies include travelling and love trying different types of food and she is obsessed with Bollywood.
Brandon Ventour – Junior 3D Generalist
BA (Hons) 3D Modelling and Animation – University of Hertfordshire
Growing up as a kid, Brandon played many video games and watched animated films which drove his passion for CGI. He began his jump into learning 3D modelling and animation at The University of Hertfordshire and has been developing his skills in his favourite parts of the pipeline ever since – 3D Modelling, Texturing, LookDev, and Compositing. His role at Random42 is to integrate the science and CGI worlds, creating beautiful animations and imagery. Outside of work Brandon loves to play basketball, travel to new places to create memories, experience new restaurants, play video games, and watch films.
Eric Lo – Senior 3D Generalist
Diploma Programme in Computer Programming – CUSCS The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Eric has over 18 years of experience in the CG industry. His love and passion for computer graphics began at 13 years old. He started his career in Hong Kong at the age of 20 and has since worked in various different positions such as Lighting TD at ILM, Lighting Supervisor at IMAGI Animation Studios, and VFX Supervisor at Centro Digital Picture Ltd. Eric has worked on different projects from around the world including Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, India, the UK, and UAE, he enjoys collaborating with different teams of artists. In 2021, Eric and his family moved to the UK. Eric brings his experience to his role as a 3D Generalist at Random42.
Akshat Sinha – Junior 3D Generalist
BSc (Hons) Animation and Multimedia – Birla Institute of Technology
Masters Concepteur et Réalisateur 3D – Ecole MoPA
Akshat graduated from Birla Institute of Technology in India and later moved to France to pursue a master’s degree in design and direction of animation films from Ecole MoPA, where he co-directed his graduation film – Memory of Water, which has been the official selection of various film festivals across the globe and was also awarded the best animation film at a film festival in California. His passion for creating beautiful 3D art brings him to Random42, where he hopes to contribute, learn more and grow as an artist. Outside of work, his interests include playing musical instruments, traveling and exploring new places, VR, cinema, yoga, and cooking.
Jonida Ramekaj – Account Executive
BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science – King’s College London
Jonida studied Biomedical Sciences at King’s College London, specialising in developmental biology. While studying, she worked part-time for a children’s and corporate events company as well as an executive search company. Jonida brings these client-facing and research skills to Random42 as an Account Executive, managing and maintaining relationships with the top 25 pharma companies. Outside of work, Jonida loves cooking, vintage shopping, travelling, learning Italian, and reading.
Harri Cameron – Junior FX Artist
BA (Hons) Computer Animation Technical Arts – Bournemouth University
Harri graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Computer Animation Technical Arts, where he specialised in VFX, taking a keen interest in simulation and procedural workflows. Working as an FX artist has allowed Harri to use his technical and creative skills together to produce striking visuals. Outside of work, Harri enjoys working on personal FX projects and has a passion for film and games.
