Anna completed her PhD at The University of Southampton, researching the effects of diet on age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Her research used aged rodent and cell culture models to assess the retinal impact of a high-fat diet with age and whether these deficits could be rescued by adopting a healthier diet. In Anna’s free time she plays guitar, does gigs, and enjoys writing and releasing music.
