We would like to welcome the newest recruits to our ever-expanding team…
David Ball – Interactive Developer
BSc (Hons) Human Computer Systems – Edinburgh Napier University
MSc Computer Science – University of Glasgow
Since completing his Masters in Computer Science David has worked as a VR developer building interactive games and applications. Previously he worked as a web and IT consultant helping businesses adopt new technologies. David joined our interactive team to helps us create new and exciting AR and VR experiences. His hobbies include hiking, cycling, gaming and creating his own personal AR and VR projects.
Gabriella Andriesz – Account Director
BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science – Nottingham Trent University
MSc Clinical Drug Development – Queen Mary University of London
Back in 2014, Gabriella joined Random42 after completing an MSc in Clinical Drug Development where she handled new and existing Client relationships within the pharmaceutical, biotech and adjacent markets. She then embarked on an agency journey of discovery – at advertising agencies within Publicis Health and WPP Health Practice. Gabriella has now brought this experience back to her role at Random42 as an Account Director and is the liaison for Agency relationships. Out of hours, Gabriella enjoys exploring new restaurants with friends, Liberty’s latest store window and cycling around London.
Rik Patel – Business Development Director
BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science – Royal Holloway, University of London
Rik joins us as Business Development Director. He brings a background spanning a decade within global healthcare communications and consulting – covering both the pharmaceutical and med-tech industries, UK regulatory affairs, as well as the NHS. Rik has experience in navigating and piecing together the vast and often siloed healthcare landscape. Combined with a passion for technology and creative applications, Rik’s aim is to connect the right people and help clients determine how best to stand out. Outside of work, Rik has his hands busy with a house renovation and gardening… though he’ll likely be at a gig, or a wedding.
Satnam Bansal – Junior Graphic Designer
BA (Hons) Graphic Design – Ravensbourne University
Satnam is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, who recently graduated Ravensbourne with a First-class Ba(Hons) in Graphic Design. Within Random42, he works alongside the 2D department designing assets for both production and marketing. In his spare time, he likes to: draw, read comic books and watch films.
Maria Thomas – Junior Medical Writer
BSc (Hons) Molecular Genetics – University of Dundee
Prior to working at Random42, Maria worked in Science Publishing. She also has experience conducting research related to VR and bioinformatics. Her role at Random42 involves developing scripts and storyboards for various projects. She is passionate about scientific writing and enjoys learning about medical advancements. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, swimming, reading Sci-fi novels and travelling.
Erin Richmond – Senior Account Executive
BSc (Hons) Nutrition – St Mary’s University
Erin recently join us as a Senior Account Executive. She is involved in helping to develop relationships with new clients and ensuring a smooth onboarding process within the pharma, biotech and adjacent markets. In previous roles, Erin has supported with medical affairs activities for top pharmaceutical companies. This has helped her gain an in-depth understanding of project management. In her spare time, she loves nothing more than curling up with a good book and a coffee.
Pablo Parry – 3D Generalist
BA (Hons) Animation – University of Wales, Newport
Pablo joined Random42 in July. Graduating from the University of Wales with a degree in animation he started slowly making his way to London picking up 5 years’ experience working in the advertising industry for such clients as Cadburys, Volvo, Rowntrees and the NHS. Wanting to expand his abilities further he’s hoping medical animation will provide a good challenge. He spends his free time stuck in the 3D world watching films, 3d printing and playing games but tries to mix it up by travelling, cooking and exploring London.
