Anna-Marie Muir – Scientific Account Executive

BSc. (Hons) Biomedical Science – University of Southampton

PhD Clinical Neurosciences – University of Southampton

Anna completed her PhD at The University of Southampton, researching the effects of diet on age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Her research used aged rodent and cell culture models to assess the retinal impact of a high-fat diet with age and whether these deficits could be rescued by adopting a healthier diet. In Anna’s free time she plays guitar, does gigs, and enjoys writing and releasing music.

Ellie Shuttleworth – Junior Project Manager

BSc Forensic Science – University of Kent

MSc Pharmacology – University of Nottingham

Ellie completed her BSc in Forensic Science at the University of Kent. She then pursued an MSc in Pharmacology at the University of Nottingham, where her research utilised computational chemistry to investigate next-generation peptide-based approaches to treat cancer-associated thrombosis. As a Junior Project Manager at Random42, Ellie coordinates internal science and production teams and manages client relationships to deliver multiple projects smoothly from start to finish. Outside of work, Ellie enjoys spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, and rock climbing.

Iacopo Manzonato – Systems Administrator

Corporate Communication and Public Relations – IULM University in Milan

As a Systems Administrator at Random42, Iacopo is responsible for planning, building, and maintaining all the systems and data. Iacopo has lived and worked in Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. He recently returned to the UK after spending two years in New Zealand, where he honed his technical expertise working as a Systems Engineer for a technology company. Outside of work, Iacopo likes to travel, discover new foods and wines, stay active through sports, and he enjoys music.

Joe Georgeu – Junior Animator

BA (Hons) Computer Animation Art and Design – Bournemouth University

Joe studied at Bournemouth University gaining a first in Computer Animation Art and Design. Ever since he was a child, he was incredibly passionate about all aspects of storytelling, specifically animated movies and shows. Specialising in character driven animation, Joe aspires to be able to use his animation skills to tell a compelling story to inspire a younger generation of artists. At Random42, Joe loves to find fun and unique ways to bring out the character in every single cell he animates. Outside of work, he loves music and songwriting and is always looking forward to the next chance to play, listen to some new sounds, or even use his own music in his next animation project.

Marcus Cann – Junior 3D Generalist

BA 3D Animation and VFX – University of Hertfordshire

Marcus graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a first-class degree in 3D Animation and VFX. He developed a specialism as an asset artist with a strong hand in both hard surface and organic modelling and texturing, building upon his early love of traditional painting. His keen eye for detail and form eventually brought him to Random42 as a Junior 3D Generalist. Outside of work, Marcus is usually deep into a video game or a good film. When he’s not enjoying a good book, he’s probably hanging out with friends, and he’s also a big fan of cats.

Bethanie Crawford – Junior 3D Generalist

BA (Hons) Games Art and Design – University of Brighton

Beth completed her bachelor’s degree in games art and design at the University of Brighton, where her focus revolved around creating detailed concept art and 3D environments for video games. After graduating, she worked towards refining her 3D skills for not only games, but animation as well. As a Junior 3D Generalist, her role is to support the production team using the skills developed during her time at university to create beautiful animations. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, gaming, and going dancing.

Bonnie Lau – Junior 3D Generalist

BA, Computer Animation Arts and Design – Bournemouth University

Bonnie graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Computer Animation Arts and Design. Before moving to the UK to study, Bonnie was always keen to dive into scientific illustration. While developing her technical skills for film and visual effects at university, Bonnie continues to use biology as a driving force in her work. She has now found her way back to her original dream here at Random42 as a Junior 3D Generalist, where she will continue to create stunning animations through visual storytelling. Outside of work, Bonnie enjoys drawing, gaining new software skills, exploring nature, and hanging out with friends.
