Our Random42 team has grown in recent months as we continue to expand our talented workforce. We are excited to give a warm welcome to our newest team members by sharing a little about each of them.

Introducing the newest starters to our team…

Georgia Gomez– Senior Account Executive

BSc Medical Sciences – Macquarie University

Georgia graduated from Macquarie University, Sydney, where she completed a Bachelor of Medical Sciences majoring in Neuroscience. Before joining Random42 she worked as a Community Associate at Queen Mary University Enterprise Zone, an innovative hub for med tech, AI, and digital health startups. During this time, she also gained experience across the technology transfer industry working alongside Queen Mary Innovation. As a Senior Account Executive at Random42, she combines her passion for science and client management through liaising with new and existing clients in the biotech sector to best execute their scientific communication needs. Outside of work Georgia enjoys travelling, cooking, exploring London’s newest restaurants, and spin classes.

Marina Hovian – HR and Payroll Administrator

Marina graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with a degree in Sociology. Through her studies, she developed a passion for people and began her career in Human Resources (HR) and has been working in HR roles for almost five years in various different industries. As a HR and Payroll Administrator at Random42, Marina’s role involves maintaining our internal HR database and payroll administration. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, travelling and singing.

Aksel Yusein – Junior Systems Administrator

Aksel has extensive knowledge and experience within the creative industry. He is fluent in a range of editing suites, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Blender. Over the past year, he has become dedicated to mastering the world of tech, developing a passion for it. From building the necessary skills to gaining certifications, Aksel aims to explore more on this journey. His role at Random42 is to provide first-line support to staff members, as well as building and maintaining systems. Outside of work, Aksel loves independent cinema, sports, and playing video games with his friends.

Megan Allman – Scientific Account Executive

PhD Microbiology – Monash University

Megan completed her PhD in Microbiology at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, where her research focused on mosquito-borne disease prevention. Her work investigated the scalability of the Wolbachia-introgression method and, through product development, testing, and implementation, developed practical solutions that helped enhance the success of global Aedes-borne disease interventions. As a Scientific Account Executive at Random42, Megan combines her scientific expertise with creativity to produce scripts and storyboards while liaising with production teams and clients to develop captivating medical animations. She also enjoys Latin and Irish dancing, reading, cooking, and travelling.

Victoria Campbell – Scientific Account Executive

MSci Biochemistry – University College London

MRes Translational and Biomedical Science – Kings’ College London

PhD Molecular Biology – Kings’ College London

Victoria completed an Integrated Master’s degree in Biochemistry at University College London. Following this, she moved to King’s College London for her PhD in Molecular Biology, studying the crosstalk of TCR and STAT signalling in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. As part of her PhD research programme, she also completed a Master’s degree in Biomedical and Translational Science, giving her a broad perspective across different areas of biomedical research. During her PhD, Victoria had the opportunity to develop her communication skills by presenting her work at multiple conferences and running workshops for secondary school students. At Random42, she writes scripts and storyboards, ensuring scientific accuracy across a range of therapeutic areas. Outside work, she enjoys watching live music, theatre, and comedy, finding new places to eat in London, and reading.
