The immune system normally identifies and eliminates unhealthy cells, including cancer cells. However, cancer cells can sometimes evade this detection.
TCR-T therapy addresses this challenge by reprogramming T-cells to recognize cancer targets. This is done by engineering T-cells to express a specific T-cell receptor (TCR) that can bind to a unique protein fragment on the surface of the cancer cell.
Anocca’s platform engineers human cells at scale for standardized high-precision analysis to map these protein fragment targets and generate therapeutic TCRs.
