Santa in the City | Successful Fundraising in Aid of Centrepoint

6th December 2021 Charity News Company News

Last week members of the Random42 Team jumped into their Santa suits to join Santa in the City 2021, a 5km fun-run event through the City of London.

The run began at the Tate Modern on the Southbank, going through some of the Capital’s most iconic landmarks.

We are extremely proud of those in our Team who participated in the event, helping to spread holiday cheer and raise vital funds for charity.

A massive thank you to everyone who made a donation in support of this event! We are excited to announce that our Random42 Santa in the City page was one of the most successful JustGiving pages last month. Out of thousands of fundraisers, we were in the top 10%.

We managed to raise £1,290 in funds in aid of our chosen charity of the year, Centrepoint, to support them with their mission to end youth homelessness by 2037. We are immensely grateful for your donations and support and we hope we can continue this successful fundraising as we move into 2022.

On behalf of all the Random42 Santa’s, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported and sponsored us! As a team, we all had a great evening kick-starting the festive celebrations, all whilst raising awareness and support for such an amazing charity. As we approach the Holiday Season, the work that Centrepoint does to help vulnerable young people move on from homelessness is more important than ever. Hopefully this was just the start of a successful year of fundraising for them!
