The Random42 team has experienced a huge amount of growth over the past few years. This growth enables us to continually expand our hardworking team that all play a crucial role in the running and development of the company. We would like to welcome the newest recruits to our ever-expanding team…

Erin Thomson – Junior Interaction Designer

 BA (Hons) Interactive Design – The Glasgow School of Art

Erin recently graduated from the Glasgow School of Art where she received an interaction design degree. Erin would class herself as a multi-disciplinary artist/creative technologist, she started out as a photographer then began to use technology as a means to create code based art and design. She joins our interactive team as a junior designer and has been researching and developing new emerging technologies and thinking of exciting ways in which we could use these to create interactive ideas.

Aidan Gastaldi-Davies – Account Coordinator

BSc (Hons) Biochemistry – University of Leicester

After completing an internship at Random42, Aidan has now stayed on with us as an Account Coordinator within our Marketing and Client Services Department. His role is to support the marketing team with various different tasks, as well as searching for new business opportunities within the biotech and pharma industries. Outside of work, he always seems to find himself on a replacement bus service from St. Pancras to St. Albans.

Louise Armstrong – Chief Sales Officer

BSc (Hons) Environmental Chemistry – University of Edinburgh

MSc Advanced Analytical Chemistry – University of Aberdeen/Universidad de Huelva

PhD Analytical Chemistry – University of Plymouth

Louise has twenty years of sales and marketing experience, commercialising cellular imaging and analysis technologies within the healthcare industry. She has worked extensively across the USA, Europe and Asia Pacific for both multinational corporations and in the start-up environment. She has joined the Random42 team as part of our strategic plan to support the future growth and success of our clients. Louise is passionate about developing people and teams that advance our scientific knowledge and understanding.

Emma Bates – 3D Artist

Visual Effects (VFX) – Futureworks School of Media

Emma came to work at Random42 as a 3D artist shortly after graduating from a Visual Effects degree at Futureworks, in Manchester. When not in the gym, Emma is usually either at a gig or eating burnt rice, sat in front of Netflix. Whilst she says she thoroughly enjoys failing as a chef, in her spare time her real passion is 3D modelling/sculpting.

Tope Amodu – Scientific Account Director

BSc (Hons) Biochemistry – Kings College London

PhD Molecular and Cell Biology – University of East Anglia

Tope completed her PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of East Anglia. Her research involved understanding the role of the cytoskeleton in breast cancer cell migration. Prior to that Tope completed a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry at King’s College London. She also has experience of working for a pharmaceutical company, which gave her an understanding of the drug discovery and development process, and skills that are relevant to her role at Random42. Tope is responsible for scientific script writing across a range of therapeutic areas.

Jennifer Hunter – Scientific Account Director

BSc (Hons) Genetics – University of Glasgow

PhD Epigenetics and Reprogramming – University of Edinburgh

 

Jennifer is responsible for developing scripts and providing scientific support for projects. Before making the moving to London and Medical Communications, she spent over two years living and working with drosophila as a Post-Doc in Montpellier, in the south of France.  Outside work Jennifer enjoys travelling, going to the cinema/theatre and all things food related.

Beatrice Viguier – 3D Artist

Digital Animation Director Course – Supinfocom Rubika

Beatrice joined Random42 after completing her time at Supinfocom Rubika. Her passion is to see how far 3d can be pushed and gain as much experience with it as much as possible. In her spare time Beatrice loves watching movies and finding those little gems that make you think and feel. She also loves to go out to musicals, exhibits or any place with friends or family.
