Welcoming our Newest Team Members

10th October 2017 Company News

Random42 has experienced a huge amount of growth over the past few years. This growth has allowed us to continually expand our hardworking team, who all play a crucial role in the running and development of the company. We would like to introduce our newest recruits, who have joined us over the past few months…

New recruits Random42

Camille Vedel – 3D Artist

Camille joined the team in mid-August as a 3D Artist. Prior to this she studied at Supinfocom Arles and is originally from the South of France, where she has lived for most of her life. This is Camille’s first experience in London and she is enjoying it a lot! In her free time Camille likes rollerblading, motorcycle riding, horse riding and exploring the city. She also enjoys cooking, learning new things, and travelling.

Chun You Sim – 3D Artist

Chun You has joined us most recently, all the way from Singapore. He has always enjoyed mathematics and physics, but also liked to dabble around with art and see “pretty stuff”. Chun You found that 3D Animation sparked his interest, and decided to come to Bournemouth where they taught both the aesthetic and technical aspects of 3D Animation, which he found really exciting. In his spare time, Chun You enjoys gaming, baking, sports and sleeping!

Ferdinand Tahaibaly – 3D Artist

Ferdinand, might be a familiar face as he started with us as an intern this summer. He now joins the team as a full-time 3D artist. Ferdinand was born in Angers in the West of France, but lived for 13 years in Reunion island, a French island in the Indian Ocean. He moved back to the North of France to study at the animation school, Supinfocom Rubika. Ferdinand discovered the existence of Random42 after a visit from our team to the school, after which he fell in love with the studio’s work. He appreciates the opportunity to combine a keen interest in science with creating beautiful images. Curious by nature, Ferdinand loves to learn new things, which is why travelling abroad is important to him. He is particularly passionate about making music and an ideal future would be an opportunity to combine all the arts.

Diane Thirault – 3D Artist

Diane joined the team in early September. She is from a little town in the North of France and recently graduated from Supinfocom Rubika, where she had studied for 5 years. In her spare time, Diane loves making illustrations, writing stories and watching films (especially animations and horror movies). She also enjoys cycling, playing the piano, composing music for films and eating chocolate (maybe too much).

Antonin Derory – 3D Artist

Antonin also joined Random42 in early September, moving to London from France. He studied at 3D animation school, Supinfocom, in Valenciennes, France for 5 years prior to starting at Random42. In his free time Antonin likes drawing, taking photographs and videos, and taking part in sports, such as, rugby; he is also a keen snowboarder in the winter. Antonin loves travelling with family and friends in the countryside and has already visited many countries around the world.
