Sling Therapeutics utilized this animation to highlight the mechanism of action (MoA) of Linsitinib, in the treatment of Thyroid Eye Disease (TED). The animation showcases how Sling’s small molecule drug binds to the target in a different manner than the approved monoclonal antibody (mAb) already on the market.
TED is an autoimmune disease in which muscles and fatty tissue behind the eye become inflamed. This educational video effectively showcases how both therapeutic modalities successfully inhibit the pathological IGF-1R signalling associated with TED, despite their different binding sites. Using dramatic visuals the animation clearly articulates the science in an easily digestible format.
