Dicerna Pharmaceuticals’ GalXC™ platform technology leverages a naturally occurring biologic process, ribonucleic acid interference (RNAi), to create therapies that silence disease-causing genes. The technology identifies and develops molecules that interfere with the RNAi processes, leading to defective or misregulated proteins that cause or contribute to disease in various therapeutic areas.
Using striking 3D visuals, the animation explains how this platform works in the liver, utilizing the patient’s own cellular mechanisms to silence disease-causing genes.
This platform animation was targeted at healthcare professionals (HCPs) and investors, explaining clearly and concisely how the technology works, with a focus on its safety. Housed on the Dicerna website, the full animation was embedded on the ‘our-galxc-technology’ page, where animation assets were repurposed into a short, looping clip.
