CRUK 2023 Partnership Round-Up
Random42 exceeds its charity fundraising target after a successful year of raising money in aid of Cancer Research UK.
During 2023 we partnered with Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading independent cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence, and information.
We were honoured to work with a charity that’s life-saving research touches the lives of so many. CRUK’s vision is for a better future and to effectively eliminate, prevent, and successfully treat and diagnose cancer to bring about a world where everybody can lead longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
In total, we managed to raise a fantastic £5,500 for CRUK, smashing our £5,000 target for the year! Throughout the year we hosted a variety of events to help raise funds for this worthy cause, as well as participating in organised events by the charity. Our most impactful fundraising event was the Race for Life which involved a 5k or 10k race around Regent’s Park where we came home with gold with a member of our team placing first in the 10k event. We were absolutely delighted to have raised a whopping £1,727.37 from this event alone!
Some of our other charity events included bake sales, quiz nights, an intense foosball tournament, CRUK’s SHINE Night Walk and the annual Santa in the City London fun-run, to name but a few. All of these events were instrumental in smashing our 2023 fundraising goal and we are extremely thankful to all those who took part and donated.
We would like to thank the CRUK team for partnering with us and their support throughout the year. We are extremely grateful to everyone who played a part in organising these fantastic events, helping make this partnership such a success. The contributions made over the past year will help make a difference to CRUK’s brilliant work.
