Immunoproteasome Animation | KZR-616 Selective Inhibitor


We created a scientific animation for Kezar Life Sciences focusing on the normal function of the multicatalytic immunoproteasome, emphasizing its importance in the body. The animation then illustrates the disease state, whereby the immunoproteasome becomes highly expressed at the sites of inflammation in patients with autoimmune disorders.

Lastly, the mechanism of action (MoA) of selective inhibitor of the immunoproteasome, KZR-616, is explained and how it induces a potent anti-inflammatory effect, resulting in symptom improvement and disease remission in Rheumatoid Arthritis, lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, and Inflammatory bowel disease.

The purpose of the animation was to provide a visual explanation of the normal function, disease state and MoA of KZR-616 in a comprehensive and engaging manner so that the science and subsequent beneficial outcomes can be clearly understood by the appropriate target audiences.

The animation was created for use at industry trade shows and conferences, for corporate fundraising events and investor relations.
